Vice President TeleHealth, United Health Group Pramod Gaur is currently responsible for coordination of telehealth solutions for the continuum of care – from wellness/prevention to chronic disease management to acute and post-acute care at the UnitedHealth Group. From 2002 to 2010, Dr. Gaur was the founding President and CEO of two TeleHealthcare companies that provided hardware/software telehealth solutions in the USA, UK and Canadian market. Dr. Gaur spent 20 years in the diagnostics industry and held technical and business management positions. Dr. Gaur’s activities as a Telehealth industry advocate include demonstrations to the US Presidential Advisor, US Congress, The White House Conference on Aging and to International Delegates at the United Nations. Dr. Gaur has served American Telemedicine Association as Chairman of the Industry Council and served one year term on the ATA Board of Directors. In April 2009, Dr. Gaur was the recipient of Fourth Annual ATA Industry Council Award for Leadership in the Advancement of Telemedicine. Dr. Gaur served a two year term (2008-10) as the Chair of the ATA International Special Interest Group and currently serving on Executive Committee for the ATA International SIG which has membership of over 350 international delegates. Dr. Gaur received his doctoral degree from the University of Kansas and received his postdoctoral training at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and the University of Maryland, School of Medicine in Baltimore.
